Nokia has finally released its latest software, Nokia Belle, to phones currently running its Symbian Anna software.
The update, which is now available to download on the e Nokia N8, C7, E7, E6, X7, C6-01, and Oro, brings a host of new features to the Symbian-powered smartphones. Amongst these is a revamped user face, which now comes dressed in resizeable live widgets, additional homescreens, an Android-style Notifications menu and an active lockscreen.
The software, which is reportedly going to be the final version of Symbian OS, also brings a bunch of new imaging tools to the smartphone line-up. These include; ”HD video recording at 30 frames per second and a visually improved browser enabling high-quality browsing and viewing of Web videos.”
Other incoming tweaks include NFC sharing, an improved web browser, improved multitasking and a bunch of new Microsoft applications (Lync, Sharepoint, OneNote, Exchange ActiveSync and PowerPoint Broadcaster.)
The update is available to download now via the latest version of Nokia Suite. Nokia 500 owner? The update will be dropping within the “next few weeks”.
