Nokia has given us our biggest clue yet that it’ll launch a sequel to the Nokia N8 at Mobile World Congress, having teased its new Pure View camera technology.
In a 20-second clip, the Finns’ promise that the yet-unannounced technology will deliver ‘Pure Detail’ and ‘Pure Definition’, and finishes with the tag-line ”Get Ready To Capture A Pure View”. Although further details are still to be confirmed, rumours are suggesting that Pure View will make its debut on the N8-sequel, leaked as the Nokia 803.
As well as Nokia’s fancy-new camera tech, the Nokia 803 is expected to run the Finns’ newest Symbian Belle OS, dressing its 4-inch ClearBlack AMOLED touchscreen. There’s also talk of a dual-core processor, 1080p HD video smarts, a front-facing video call camera, a HDMI-out port, a microSIM slot and integrated NFC technology.
Expect to hear more at Mobile World Congress in a few day’s time.
